Allah Glory to Him the Exalted not only forbids pork, but all parts produced from pigs. So why did Allah create pigs while they are forbidden?
Something that is forbidden by Allah for His servants must have its harm. Or even the harm outweighs the benefit, like pigs for example.
Allah's prohibition on consuming pork is clearly recorded in the Koran in several suras in it. One of them is Surah Al-Maidah verse 3 which means:
"Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat blood the flesh of swine and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah that which hath been killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a headlong fall or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any forced by hunger with no inclination to transgression Allah is indeed Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful."
It is not only meat from pigs that is forbidden, but all parts produced from these animals. Such as skin, oil, bone, blood and others. Then why did Allah create pigs but they are forbidden?
Reporting from Bincang Syariah (03/05/18), humans should not have to know the wisdom contained in what Allah has done. Man's only obligation is to believe in Him.
Because, Allah knows what is best for His creation. So, it is enough to believe that if there is a prohibition from Allah, then it must have harm or danger for His servants.
"He cannot be questioned for His acts but they will be questioned (for theirs)." Surah Al-Anbiya verse 23
However, Allah's purpose in creating pigs could be a test for humans. If, a person is able to avoid consuming pork, then he passes the test that Allah has given him.
As also explained by Ustadz Abdul Somad (Indonesian cleric) in his preaching, he likened the test from Allah to the multiple choice exam questions given at school.
"Why out of the four choices, three are incorrect, why is one correct? Is the teacher stupid? No. Why is one correct, three incorrect? It's a test," explained Ustadz Abdul Somad.
Furthermore, Ustadz Abdul Somad or who is usually called UAS said it was the same as the choice of dogs, pigs, and goats. As Muslims, definitely choose goats for consumption.

Quoting from Bincang Syariah, the creation of the pig can provide a lesson that can be learned, namely not to become like a pig. Pigs are characterized by their lazy and greedy life.
In addition, pigs are also dirty animals because pigs eat their own feces. In fact, the food eaten by pigs is sometimes urinated by the pig itself.
In addition, according to UAS, the greed of pigs can be seen from their attitude that often vomits food from their stomachs, then they eat it again. The presence of pigs can remind people not to be lazy, to live a cleaner life, and not to be greedy.
As Allah used to use the pig as an example of the previous people who were cursed for their bad deeds. This is explained in the Koran sura Al-Maidah verse 60:
Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine those who worshipped Evil; these are (many times) worse in rank and far more astray from the even Path!
